A former adjunct law professor at the University of Illinois College of Law, Perkins graduated magna cum laude from both Beloit College and the University of Illinois College of Law before launching his legal career at Dentons.

Ms. Gabbaian is the immediate past President of the Barristers Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association (“BHBA”). She has also served as the Communications and New Media Chair of the Barristers and Entertainment Sections of the BHBA, where she has arranged seminars, including for entertainment lawyers, on the intersection of immigration and entertainment law. She has also been active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) and has lectured at AILA round tables on Law and Technology issues. She was also a winner of the 2022 “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” Immigration knowledge contest, MC’d by eminent immigration attorney Ira Kurzban and a panel of other AILA attorneys.

Vanessa grew up in El Paso, Texas, a vibrant Hispanic community just minutes from the U.S.–Mexico border. Witnessing firsthand the immigration challenges faced by families in her hometown inspired her to pursue a legal career advocating for immigrants and their loved ones. She is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
Outside of her legal practice, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her husband and their six rescue dogs. She is passionate about helping animals in need and can often be seen rescuing dogs off the street and working to place them in safe, loving homes.

Inspired by her own immigration journey, Ms. Nuñez Amador transitioned from entertainment law to exclusively practicing immigration law in 2016. Her practice focuses on removal defense and family-based immigration matters, including family petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, DACA, waivers, and consular processing. A trusted legal voice who has contributed commentary to outlets like The Desert Sun, she also provides pro bono representation to asylum-seeking women and children through Esperanza Catholic Charities.

She began her legal career as in-house counsel for a multimillion-dollar company, advising on corporate and business matters, before transitioning to immigration law in 2021.
Diana served as Director of Immigration at a boutique law firm in New York City, specializing in business immigration by assisting companies in bringing managers, executives, and other key professionals to the United States. She advised employers on employment-based immigration strategies and also managed a broad range of family-based immigration, helping relatives obtain their green cards through adjustment of status or consular processing.
Diana later served at the NYC Asylum Application Help Center, an emergency initiative under Mayor Adams in partnership with the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs ("MOIA"), providing critical legal services to newly arrived migrants in completing and filing more than 111,000 applications for asylum, work permits, and Temporary Protective Status ("TPS"). She supervised attorneys and non legal staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Additionally, her team successfully submitted over four hundred Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases, expanding access to lawful immigration pathways for vulnerable immigrant youth. Her work included one-on-one advising and large-scale training for hundreds of young people with pending applications, preparing them for hearings, interviews, and next steps in their immigration process.
