Los Angeles Immigration Lawyer

Los Angeles is home to more immigrants than almost any city on earth, and it is home to The Immigration Professor.

From our offices in Westwood and Culver City, attorneys Robert Perkins, Lauren Gabbaian, and Vanessa Ruiz represent individuals and families across Southern California — in English and Spanish, with Farsi-speaking staff on the team.

Attorney Perkins has practiced immigration law exclusively since 1994, and Los Angeles has been the center of that practice since 2009. Our work centers on what LA's families need most: family-based immigration (marriage and family petitions, adjustment of status, removal of conditions, and waivers), citizenship and naturalization (from eligibility review through the interview and oath), and humanitarian relief (asylum, U visas for crime victims, and VAWA petitions).

Most clients handle their entire case securely online — by phone, video, and our client portal — so you never have to fight the 405 unless you want to. Virtual appointments are strongly preferred; in-person meetings are available by appointment at either location.
